Probably the best man made holiday next to Valentine's Day, is World NUTELLA day. It's a celebration of all things hazlenutty and milk chocolatey. i can remember many a summer in Italy with my family where not a single day would go by without a thick slice of crusty italian bread topped with a generous slather of Nutella. -and still to this day, my all time favorite Nutella recipe is simply Nutella on crusty italian bread. Nothing Better.
Unfortunately due to an incredibly busy work week, i was not able to officially participate in the World Nutella Day festivities by baking my own Nutella confection. No fear, fellow chocolate carbohydrate lovers, next week a fabulous Nutella treat will find its way into my office. Until then, you'll have to check out this amazing feat by my friend, and fellow Nutella-lover, Mozart has done: not only has she celebrated World Nutella Day on her blog and in her kitchen, but she celebrated World Nutella week!
